Job Title: Activity Coordinator

Our goal as an Activity Coordinator is to create and implement activities that bring joy to our residents, working closely with the Home Manager to organize essential fundraising events.

We strive to help our residents build confidence in socializing and develop new activity ideas based on their hobbies. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be instrumental in engaging the care home team in these activities, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute activities for our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager on fundraising initiatives.
  • Empower our residents to effectively communicate and interact with each other.
  • Develop innovative activity ideas based on resident interests.
  • Promote team engagement and participation in activities.
Requirements:
  • A background working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Experience in developing activity programs.
  • Positive energy and ability to connect with others.
  • Natural communication skills and a considerate approach.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and IT skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Strong, kind communication skills.
