Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a permanent contract with guaranteed hours, offering a competitive pay rate of £14/hour.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of access control, including greeting visitors and ensuring only authorised persons enter the building. You will also assist with deliveries and post, contacting relevant tenants as necessary.
Main Duties:
- The administration of all aspects involved in access control to a defined level.
- Act as the first point of contact for greeting visitors entering.
- Assist with deliveries and post in contacting relevant tenants to advise.
- Assist with duties requested from clients.
- Issue access cards to contractors and visitors.
- Respond to email and telephone requests relating to any issues in a timely manner.
- Report any security issues to the onsite security supervisor.
- Manage access control via the turnstiles ensuring only authorised persons enter.
- Manage the carpark intercom to ensure only authorised vehicles are granted access.
- Assist with smart spaces via the app.
- Comply with and operate site security instructions and policies.
- Comply with and operate site emergency and Health & Safety procedures; respond as necessary to emergencies, including assistance to the emergency services in the event of fire/bomb threats.
