Lead Consultant Psychiatrist in Integrated Mental Health Services

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. Job SummaryThis is a 10 PA plus 0.5 PA and 3% Category A availability supplement for on-call post. Part-time or job-share applications are welcome. The successful candidate will have MRCPsych or equivalent and be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register and be fully registered with the GMC, as well as Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.

Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality psychiatric care and support to individuals under our care
- To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated mental health services
- To participate in clinical audit and quality improvement programs to ensure continuous improvement of our services
- To contribute to research and service evaluation activities to improve patient outcomes
The ideal candidate will have:
MB BS or equivalent medical qualificationFully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointmentIncluded on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six monthsApproved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointmentApproved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointmentBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of £90,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
