Main Responsibilities

This Consultant Psychiatrist role will provide essential mental health and learning disability services to a diverse population of 1.8 million people in Kent and Medway.

As a senior mental health professional, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality care and services, working closely with a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Requirements
  1. MRCPsych or equivalent qualification and Specialist Register status
  2. Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act
  3. Excellent clinical skills, knowledge, and experience in mental health and learning disability services
  4. Ability to manage complex cases and make informed decisions
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

This is a 10 PA plus 0.5 PA and 3% Category A availability supplement for on-call post. Part-time or job-share applications are welcome.
