Key Responsibilities- To provide training and specialist advice on Mental Capacity assessments and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards via the duty system, ensuring staff awareness of their responsibilities in Safeguarding Adults.
- To support and advise staff on issues related to Safeguarding Adults, including participating in strategy meetings and case conferences.
- To attend court proceedings as needed, collaborating with the Trust legal department.
- To participate in groups achieving the Trust's objectives in relation to Adult Safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act.
- To work closely with designated professionals to ensure the Trust meets its responsibilities in Adult Safeguarding.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Proven experience in safeguarding adults and mental capacity assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to maintain effective working relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
The salary for this role is £43,141 - £56,960 per annum, depending on experience.
