Autism Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join our team at CareTech UK. As an Autism Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing practical and emotional care to individuals with autism and learning disabilities. Your duties will include participating in day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities, supporting service users with daily tasks such as meal preparation and laundry, and working as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
- The confidence to work alone or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for working with vulnerable adults
- A commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding
