Job Overview

Mental Health Matters is a national charity dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health and social care services across England.

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team in Thanet, providing essential support to individuals in crisis.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or similar, with a willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification within 12 months of employment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional support, advice, and guidance through face-to-face, telephone, and video interactions.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of interactions and ensuring the service meets quality standards and performance targets.
  • Collaborating with external partners to support clients' safety and deliver a high-quality service.

This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 (pro-rata) and 25 days annual leave, increasing with length of service.
