Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Reward Consultant to join our team as a Reward and Benefits Specialist. This role will play a vital part in shaping our reward strategy, ensuring we attract, retain, and engage top talent while delivering value to our business.
As a Reward and Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective reward processes, including annual pay reviews, out-of-cycle pay increases, annual incentives, and holiday pay. You will also manage apprentice and graduate pay reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with an excellent benefits package that includes:
- 26 days' holiday per year (increasing to 30 with length of service) plus bank holidays
- Contributory pension scheme with up to 12% employer contribution
- Personal medical assessments available to all employees once a year
- Wider benefits scheme, including a benefits hub offering discounts and information to support wellbeing
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing reward strategies aligned with our business objectives
- Designing and delivering employee recognition programs to enhance engagement
- Managing the compensation and benefits function, including annual pay reviews and other reward-related activities
- Collaborating with HR colleagues, business leaders, and trade unions to drive reward excellence
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong analytical skills and Excel knowledge to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to advise and collaborate with stakeholders
- Experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in an operational business environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to deliver high-quality results
