Sales Director

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sales professional to lead the growth of our retail category. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and profitability within our retail category.
You will work closely with the wider category team(s) to provide leadership and direction, and will be responsible for the P+L of a defined account or portfolio of accounts.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability
- Lead the development of strategic retail partnerships
- Provide leadership and direction to junior members of the wider category team(s)
- P+L responsibility for a defined account or portfolio of accounts
- Effective evaluation of promotional performance and developing recommendations
- Work with marketing to develop and implement customer plans
- Internal and external communication of performance
- Management of forecast and risks & opportunities
- Strong background in major retail account management
- Experience working at Commercial Manager level within our industry
- Experience of working with at least one of the top Grocery multiple accounts
- Own label or branded experience
- A relationship builder who can work with major grocery accounts
- Highly analytical with excellent project management skills
A salary of £62,000-£72,000 per annum is available, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive salary, pension contribution up to 10x, holiday - 25 days plus bank holidays.
