Power Grid Development Engineer

Salary
The successful candidate will receive an estimated salary of £34,895 per annum, with a one-time bonus of £2,000 upon joining, plus a payment of up to £2,400 upon completing the graduate programme. Additionally, flexible hybrid working is available, where possible.
Job Description
This role involves ensuring compliance with Distribution Licence conditions, building connections into the network development, optioneering strategy, and optimizing solutions for future load-related reinforcements needs. The graduate will also manage key relationships with the Electricity System Operator and National Grid Electricity Transmission, as well as assess and design new demand and generation connections.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum 2:2 degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences, or Data Sciences. You must also possess a full valid UK driving license and demonstrate the legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the graduate programme.
