Power Grid Development Engineer

**Job Role**
">Our Primary Network Design unit is seeking a skilled engineer to join their team as a Power Grid Development Engineer. This role involves designing and developing the 132kV, 66kV, and 33kV distribution network system throughout National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED).
">The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, sciences, or data sciences. They will need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and optimize network designs.
">**Key Responsibilities**
">- Designing and developing the 132kV, 66kV, and 33kV distribution network system
- Ensuring NGED remains compliant with applicable Distribution Licence conditions
- Building connections into the network development
- Collaborating with ESO and NGET for network interface issues
**Benefits and Salary**
">We offer a competitive salary of £34,895, flexible hybrid working, a tailored development programme, a £2,000 bonus, 26 days holiday, and £2,400 payment on successful completion of the programme. The role also requires a full valid UK driving license and flexibility to travel within the role and throughout your rotations as required.
