Symplicity is a global provider of technology solutions to Higher Education institutions. We are seeking a skilled Product Support Specialist to join our team in the EMEA region.

The Product Support Specialist will be the initial point of contact for clients needing support with their Symplicity software. This role requires exceptional communication skills, technical trouble-shooting abilities, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide telephone, chat, and helpdesk support to clients.
  • Troubleshoot and test bugs in the Symplicity software.
  • Write internal support and training notes.
  • Train clients and new staff members on Symplicity systems.
  • Collaborate with the product team and sales team to resolve client issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience of using HTML and CSS to edit web content.
  • Ability to understand and write SQL database queries on production systems.
  • Technical trouble-shooting and creative problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of University Careers Services, Experiential Education/Work-based Learning, and/or Careerhub / UniHub.
  • Experience of Amazon Web services, particularly configuration of S3 and SES.

Working Conditions and Remuneration:

  • This role is fully remote with occasional travel to client locations or for team meetings.
  • The successful candidate will be provided with a company laptop and expected to organize a suitable working location.
  • Annualized salary of 28,000 GBP to 36,000 GBP based on qualifications.
  • 25 working days of holiday entitlement in addition to normal public or bank holidays.
