About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior to join our team at Heels & Brogues Group Limited in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about financial governance and has a strong understanding of auditing principles.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in leading audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance our financial processes. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading audits and providing high-quality audit reports
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective financial governance
  • Providing training and support to junior staff members

We offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, plus annual bonuses, as well as a range of benefits including hybrid working, 5 weeks' holiday, and enhanced maternity pay.
