Job Title: Advertising Account Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team at AB Search. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed annual sales and margin targets
  • Maximize customer enquiries and sales opportunities
  • Perform all required sales activities, including answering phone calls, taking enquiries, and quoting for customer requirements
  • Identify potential new business opportunities and pursue them
  • Respond to changes in market conditions and core product performance
  • Keep up-to-date on all relevant information, changes, and requirements for allocated accounts
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with allocated sales accounts
  • Work with the General Manager to pursue and develop business opportunities
  • Develop relevant market knowledge to achieve cross-selling opportunities
  • Meet customer KPIs and specific contractual requirements
  • Handle customer complaints and disputes
  • Liaise with credit control to ensure sales accounts remain within terms
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual Budget process
  • Entertain customers, attend training and courses, and attend conferences and business events
  • Act as an exemplar salesperson and present a professional image
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to and communicated to operations staff
  • Support stock checks and other tasks as deemed necessary by the General Manager

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills, particularly verbal communication using the telephone
  • Ability to be organized, especially in planning and having an eye for detail
  • Determination to succeed in pursuing opportunities and in 'closing the sale'
  • Good product knowledge
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Computer literate
  • Passion for selling
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Good customer service skills with excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management skills to maximize production

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability for sales and a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Experience: 1 year of sales experience required
