Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Stores Administrator to join our team at Groupe VIVESCIA. As an Engineering Stores Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of our engineering stores, including the ordering, receiving, and issuing of stock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the inventory of engineering stores, including the ordering and receiving of stock, and the issuing of stock to the engineering team.
  • Ensure that inventory levels are maintained within established parameters, and that stock is organized to facilitate accessibility and safety.
  • Plan and manage regular stock takes to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
  • Provide a full report on all stock outs on a weekly basis, and control the cost of stores inventory.
  • Raise orders for the engineering team and source non-stock items required.
  • Ensure that all accounts with key suppliers are up to date and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Manage critical spares, including identifying high, medium, and low movers, and managing obsolescent stock.
  • Track and report on spend, ensuring it meets budgetary requirements set out by management.
  • Assist with sourcing alternate specification items, utilizing good technical understanding.
  • Respond to PPE requests from other departments.
  • Track and report on KPI metrics as deemed necessary by management.
Requirements
  • Experience in an administration or stock control role within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, with experience in SAP.
  • Knowledge of using an Enterprise Management System (EMS).
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
