About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our Research Team at East and North Herts NHS Trust. As a Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and timely set up of clinical trials, maintaining databases and spreadsheets, and producing monthly progress reports.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with the set up of clinical trials, ensuring timely and efficient execution
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases and spreadsheets
  • Produce monthly progress reports on recruitment and trial activity
  • Assist with the tracking and raising of invoices, identifying discrepancies and escalating appropriately
  • Manage daily trial activity, including case report form completion and amendment processing
  • Assist with quality assurance of trial-related documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines
  • Support preparation for audit and inspections within assigned teams
  • Ensure general trial-related communication is in accordance with the Data Protection Act

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification, and/or relevant research experience
  • Experience in clinical trial administration, including data management
  • Knowledge of the clinical trials process, GCP guidelines, and EU directives
  • Understanding of medical terminology and patient information systems
  • Good organizational, computer, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
