An international organisation operating within the UK and Europe requires a results-driven Food Industry Sales Representative to drive growth and revenue expansion.

Company Overview:

The company specialises in scientific instrumentation for analysing critical quality parameters in various industries, including food, agricultural, industrial, and environmental sectors.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for maximising growth potential through proactive sales strategies, working closely with the marketing team to identify key players and source new sales opportunities.

A high level of autonomy is expected, as you will be predominantly selling to quality, technical, and process improvement type individuals.

Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Qualifying inbound leads and routing them to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  2. Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects, updating the CRM accordingly.
  3. Interacting with customers after sales concerning lead times and any after-sale services required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Ideal candidates have experience within the food industry in a sales environment, although we are open to backgrounds.

You must also be proficient with Microsoft Office and have proven success within a telesales environment, making dozens of dials per day.
