English Teaching Leadership Role

We are seeking an exceptional English teacher to join our team as a Lead Subject Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team and contribute to the development of our students.

About the Role
  • Lead subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning
  • Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
  • Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely intervention

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching qualification considered
  • Experience of teaching to secondary class/group
  • Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies
  • Experience within an SEN setting an advantage
