Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN English Teacher to join our permanent staff at a highly reputable SEN school group.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver engaging English lessons adapted to the needs of SEN students, ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  2. Collaborate with SEN specialists and support staff to create individualized learning plans, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure students meet their learning goals.
  4. Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with diverse learning needs, promoting academic and personal growth.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English, and a strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and individualized learning approaches.
  2. Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs, with a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and parents to support student success.
  4. A strong passion for teaching English to students with SEN, with a focus on promoting literacy and language skills.
