About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team at Wiltshire Council. As a key member of our Learning Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of educational provision for children with SEND.

You will work closely with schools, families, and other support services to identify and address the needs of vulnerable children, using your expertise in educational psychology to inform your practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement strategies to support children with SEND, including those with SEMH needs.
  • To work collaboratively with schools and other agencies to deliver integrated support.
  • To provide training, supervision, and interventions for professionals across various settings.
  • To offer advice and guidance to parents/carers as required.

Key Skills: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Educational Psychologist who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a sound understanding of educational psychology principles and practices.

Working Arrangements: This is a full-time post, and we anticipate that you will be based in our Swindon office, although some travel may be required to meet with schools and other stakeholders.
