About the Opportunity: We are looking for a highly skilled Child Development Expert to join our team at Wiltshire Council. As an Educational Psychologist, you will work with schools, families, and young people to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and those with special educational needs.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide specialist advice and support to schools, families, and young people to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and those with SEND (including emotional wellbeing and mental health).
  • To work collaboratively alongside other support services and peers to deliver integrated and co-ordinated support which is built around the needs of children and young people.
  • To contribute to the delivery of effective training, supervision, and interventions for professionals and others across a range of settings.
  • To work within a multi-agency team supporting SEMH needs of children.
  • To require frequent use of private transport.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Educational Psychology or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
