Orthoptist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthoptist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality patient care and management in specialist paediatric and paediatric neuro-ophthalmology clinics, motility and adnexal clinics, adult neuro-ophthalmology, stroke and brain injury assessments, and on-site adjustable suture assessments.
  • To work autonomously and as part of a team to investigate, diagnose, and manage patients referred to the Orthoptic Department.
  • To have responsibility for diagnosis and management of adults and children of all ages.
  • To be involved in the clinical training of Orthoptic undergraduates and other medical, optometry, and nursing staff or students.
Requirements
  • BSc Orthoptics or Equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with HCPC.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Relevant Orthoptic experience in acute and community settings.
