Job Title: Band 7/8a Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7/8a Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at the Transformation Unit.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist Psychological Medicines Unit (PMU) at Central Middlesex Hospital, providing a highly specialist psychology service to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions.

Main Duties
  • Provide a highly specialist psychology service to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes.
  • Contribute to creating a psychologically safe environment for patients, staff, and carers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Undertake service evaluation, audit, and research to support service development.
  • Work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct.

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • HCPC Registered
