A supportive school in Newham is seeking a Personality Development Specialist to assist students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviors. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people navigate their personal and academic challenges.

We are looking for individuals with experience working with young people in environments such as youth groups, sports coaching, or care settings. Experience working with students with SEMH and challenging behaviors would be highly advantageous.

Salary: £25-£35 per hour (dependent on experience). Full-time position.

The successful applicant will:

  • Manage difficult situations with composure and empathy
  • Be innovative and adaptable in their approach to supporting students with additional needs
  • Show genuine concern for students' personal, emotional, and academic development
  • Motivate and inspire trust in students with a supportive attitude
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to bring about positive change
  • Use initiative to meet students' specific communication and learning needs
