Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and talented HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for delivering HR solutions across the full employee lifecycle, focusing on performance, engagement, wellbeing, and diversity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support key stakeholders and designated client groups to deliver HR solutions that meet business needs.
  • Coach and support managers to effectively manage and develop their people, increasing capability and attracting, retaining, and developing top industry talent.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the People strategy, HR calendar, and team objectives to support business goals.
  • Understand strategic and operational priorities and provide lead support and advice on organisational change projects.
  • Create and implement effective wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion solutions.
  • Improve employee engagement through effective use of tools, constructive feedback, and action planning.
  • Identify and communicate career paths within designated client groups and collaborate with L&D colleagues to create development plans.
  • Support managers to create and drive a high-performing culture, including communicating clear expectations for management behavior.
  • Help the company grow internationally by providing HR guidance and commercial solutions.
  • Manage and resolve ER issues, offering advice and guidance as appropriate.
  • Undertake regular succession planning and ensure talented employees have development plans and solutions for skills gaps.
  • Provide colleagues in recruitment with annual recruitment and promotion plans for designated client groups.
  • Embed performance culture, ensuring consistent approach to performance management and managing underperformance.
  • Undertake regular calibration sessions to ensure performance management is fair and consistent.
  • Support reward activities by benchmarking roles, supporting pay review, and reviewing pay and bonus recommendations.
  • Collaborate with L&D and Recruitment colleagues to define employee value proposition, improve brand recognition, and embed the mission statement.
  • Support the HRD with projects and initiatives, including business change and transformation projects.
  • Keep up-to-date with employment legislation and HR best practice, sharing knowledge within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong generalist HR knowledge to challenge and interpret policies and procedures.
  • Experience of implementing wellbeing, performance, diversity, and engagement improvement programs.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing complex ER issues.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, with evidence of building and maintaining relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and ER cases.
  • Evidence of delivering change in complex environments, including project management skills.
  • Strong commercial focus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to assimilate information quickly.
  • Evidence of facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Ability to understand and drive insights from HR data, with a good understanding of HR information systems.
