Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Daisy Communications Limited. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of our People strategy, advising and supporting senior managers, and contributing to HR/People projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior managers to provide expert advice and support on people-related matters.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement and ensure the business is continually improving through effective people management.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure that relevant legislation is adhered to and provide guidance on its practical applications.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to managers on employee relations matters, including grievances, conduct, and capability.
  • Performance Management: Support and advise on performance management processes, including performance reviews and development plans.
  • Sickness and Attendance: Support and manage sickness and attendance challenges, including long-term sickness.
  • Employment Law: Advise on employment law, minimizing and managing business risk, with the support of senior members of the HR/People team.
  • Change Management: Implement people-related change in relation to business acquisitions and restructuring.
  • Talent Management: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team on workforce planning, talent mapping, and succession planning.
  • People Strategy: Contribute to the implementation of the People strategy to drive business performance and influence positive change across the business.
  • People Data and Analytics: Use people data and HR software to identify patterns and implement recommendations.
  • Relationship Building: Build honest, open, and productive relationships with managers and leaders to influence people-related decision-making.
  • Policy and Procedure: Review and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Communication and Training: Ensure people-related information is communicated and employees receive appropriate training.
  • Payroll and HR Systems: Liaise with the payroll team and ensure accurate and timely communication of pay-related information.
  • Documentation and Administration: Ensure all relevant documentation is maintained and accurate, and support the People Administrator with creation and distribution of documentation.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support in the interpretation of company policies and procedures.
  • Project Management: Support and work closely with the wider HR/People team and the business to manage people-related projects and achieve objectives.
Requirements
  • CIPD Level 3 or Equivalent: Hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Employment Law Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of employment law and its practical applications.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Experience of working in a fast-paced environment or the aptitude to do so.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a project team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills.
