Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior managers to provide guidance and support on people-related matters, including employment law, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement and retention by implementing initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • HR Projects: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives that support business objectives, including talent management, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Employee Relations: Provide advice and support on employee relations matters, including grievances, conduct, and capability issues.
  • Performance Management: Support managers in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including performance reviews and development plans.
  • Sickness and Attendance: Manage sickness and attendance issues, including long-term sickness and attendance management.
  • Employment Law: Provide advice and guidance on employment law matters, including contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Change Management: Support the implementation of change management initiatives, including restructuring and business acquisitions.
  • Talent Acquisition: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement talent management strategies, including workforce planning and succession planning.
  • HR Systems: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR systems, including HR software and payroll systems.
  • Communication: Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure that employees are informed and engaged on people-related matters.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: In-depth knowledge of employment law and its practical applications, experience of working in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Skills: Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a project team, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

  • Competitive Salary: Up to £27,000.
