Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our Dispensary team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the education and training of dispensary staff and rotational staff
  • Maintain accurate dispensing records and records of dispensing errors
  • Manage and maintain the Dispensary to-follows and ordering processes
  • Support and assist all members of the dispensary team as well as the wider pharmacy team
  • Support dispensary staff working on the satellite pharmacy on Galton Day Unit
Requirements
  • GCSE (English & Maths C or above)
  • NVQ2 (pharmaceutical) or ability to work towards within 6 months
  • IT literacy including core Office programs
  • Good technical skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Methodical and able to prioritise workload
