Child Support Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Child Support Coordinator. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with social workers to assess the needs of children, young people, and families in accordance with legislation, policy, and procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist social workers in assessing the needs of children, young people, and families.
- To implement child care plans and undertake direct work with children and young people.
- To facilitate supervised family time/contact arrangements, including driving duties.
- To support parents, children, and young people in developing confidence and self-esteem.
- To contribute to parenting programmes (individual and group work).
Requirements:
- A minimum of Level 3 qualification in a care-related subject or an educational-related subject, along with 1 year of experience working with families/children in a formal setting.
- OR Level 2 qualification in a care-related or educational-related subject, along with 2 years of experience working with families/children in a formal setting.
- OR 4 years of experience working with families/children in a formal setting.
- A valid driving license and access to a car.
Estimated Salary: £12,860 per annum,
