About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Family Service Coordinator to join our team in Northern Ireland. As a Family Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing quality social work services to children and families. The ideal candidate will have 6-12 months of previous Social Care experience, with enhanced access NI cleared and a valid UK driving license.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating family support, diversionary, and respite services, sourcing appropriate family support services and other resources. You will also assist children and/or parents/carers with practical tasks, deliver advice and guidance in relation to parenting tasks, and assist in delivery of contact services including the supervision of contact arrangements. Furthermore, you will report all identified child protection concerns or other areas of concern or risk to the Team Manager and/or Social Worker immediately.

We are offering a competitive salary of £29,340 per annum (Band 4 pay scale), which equates to approximately £12.86 per hour. In addition, you will receive premium evening & weekend rates if required, along with a competitive mileage allowance and enhanced holiday package.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise and manage a varied caseload, and build rapport with parents, young people & social care professionals.
