We are seeking a skilled Transport Coordinator to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient management of patient transport services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of patient transport services, ensuring timely and efficient collection and delivery of patients.
  • Manage the dispatch and management of operational crews, ensuring compliance with relevant service procedures and standing orders.
  • Receive and respond to requests for patient transport and queries regarding ambulance journeys, providing accurate and effective information to patients and customers.
  • Undertake general clerical duties, including data input, checking booking lists, and completing ad-hoc forms and invoices as necessary.
  • Maintain and enhance the performance and quality of service offered to patients and customers.
  • Deal promptly and professionally with all telephone calls, taking appropriate action on own initiative where required.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, gained from experience of dealing with customers or members of the public.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and problem solve.
  • Good organisational skills.
