About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Medical Coordinator to join our team at HJE. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical terminology, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, consultants, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • To coordinate patient care and services, including managing referrals, scheduling appointments, and updating medical records.
  • To communicate effectively with patients, consultants, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • To maintain accurate records, update information systems, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals, prioritizing tasks, and managing workload effectively.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in medical terminology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy healthcare environment. Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or certificate in Medical Terminology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical administration, preferably in a private hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

HJE offers a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including private healthcare scheme worth up to £20,000 per year, 27 days annual leave, Blue Light Card discounts, interest-free season ticket loans, and more.
