Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Professional to join our prestigious Finance Team as an Interim Sales Ledger Accountant. This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to vital financial operations in a leading production and distribution company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Ledger Management: Oversee the complete sales ledger and handle debtor reconciliation.
  • Invoicing and Cash Posting: Prepare sales invoices and post received cash into accounting ledgers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage key customer relationships and oversee credit control.
  • Database Maintenance: Keep theatrical databases and billing systems up-to-date.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with the Theatrical sales team.
  • Revenue Reporting: Gather theatrical box office returns, verify rental rates, and prepare month-end theatrical revenue reports.
  • Reconciliations: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Forecasting: Assist in forecasting theatrical revenues and cash receipts.
  • Customer Master Creation: Create and maintain customer master records.
  • Team Support: Provide support to the finance team as needed.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Engage in projects that support business growth and development.
  • Diversity and Inclusion Contribution: Participate in the company's D&I groups to promote inclusion.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.
  • Experience with MACCS is highly advantageous.
  • Aspiration to achieve an accountancy qualification.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is preferable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
