About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and successful leader and manager to join our team as a Digital Engagement Manager at Dorset Police. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our ICT department and contribute to the delivery of our Managed Services across Devon & Cornwall and Dorset Police Forces.

About the Team:

The ICT Digital Engagement Team is responsible for the supply of ICT services through in-house resource and by third parties, managing contracts, setting commercial and performance targets, and ensuring performance delivery across the supplier remit. The team encompasses:

  • A Commercial Team with responsibility for procurement, contracts, licensing, and service management
  • A Business Partner Team with responsibility for customer service and stakeholder engagement
  • A Project Management Office with responsibility for resourcing and delivering major ICT changes

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and successful leader and manager who has broad all-round knowledge and experience of the Information, Communications, and Technology marketplace, including ICT business trends, technologies, and future developments. You will have strong analytical skills, a track record in delivering exceptional service covering a wide range of ICT technologies, and be great at collaborating, setting and managing expectations, and quickly building credibility and establishing good professional relationships across our Forces, suppliers, and partners.
