About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in St Austell, Cornwall. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live the lives they choose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, medication administration, and support with daily living tasks.
- Support individuals with preparing and cooking meals, attending medical appointments, and engaging in social activities.
- Assist with independent skills, domestic duties, and keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required.
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers.
Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments.
- Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate.
