Job Summary:

Maintenance Technician sought for leading Medtech company in UK. Attending to electro-mechanical faults, conducting PPMs, maintaining equipment, supervising quality, operating equipment, installing new technology and participating in team projects.

About the Role:

  • Attend to electro-mechanical faults and diagnose problems in a timely manner.
  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish offline machinery and ancillaries.
  • Maintain manufacturing equipment to produce products according to established Quality Control specifications and standards.
  • Supervise in-process quality and address issues to prevent product holds.
  • Operate equipment and processes in compliance with Quality Control, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
  • Work with Operational, Engineering and Quality Control personnel to promote continuous improvement.
  • Install and validate new equipment and technology.
  • Participate in team meetings and project teams.
  • Enter data onto SAP and perform operational duties.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering or a time served apprenticeship.
  • Experience in a high volume, highly automated manufacturing environment.
  • Methodical approach, organised and self-motivated individual with a safety awareness of electrical, compressed air and pressurised systems.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive salary, generous holiday leave, a commitment to employee growth and development, and a positive and collaborative company culture.
