Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SEN Tutor and Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Connex Education. As an Education Mentor for Students with SEMH Needs, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning services, providing personalized support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions to students with SEMH needs, promoting engagement and progress.">
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit individual learning styles and needs.">
  • Support students' social and emotional development alongside academic progress.">
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment.">
  • Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.">

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH/SEN needs.">
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality protocols.">
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching methods to meet individual needs.">
  • Relevant qualifications in education or support work.">
  • Ability to build rapport and motivate students with varying levels of engagement.">
