Job Title: Tutoring Specialist for SEMH/SEN Students

Tutor Role Overview

This role involves delivering one-to-one tutoring sessions to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will create a supportive learning environment, adapting their approach to meet the unique needs of each student.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles and requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
  • Safeguard and promote the well-being of students with SEMH/SEN needs.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH/SEN needs.
  • Able to build rapport and motivate students with varying levels of engagement.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding protocols.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching methods.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or support work.
