Job Description

Thurrock Council is seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapy Team Leader to join our Occupational Therapy Service. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our service and delivering high-quality outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of occupational therapists to deliver a range of support services for adults with disabilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and accessibility of our services.
  • Work closely with partners across health, housing, and social care to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience of leading and managing teams in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £58,500 per annum, plus a range of benefits including a generous annual leave entitlement and flexible working arrangements.
