Senior Payroll Administrator

Career Summary: A skilled Senior Payroll Administrator is sought to join our vibrant Newcastle office, with the flexibility to work from home. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who has gained knowledge and experience of running end-to-end payroll processes and managing a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run end-to-end payroll processes for a portfolio of clients/schemes.
  • Take responsibility for the completion of payroll processes relating to data entry tasks and activities.
  • Gather data and information from various sources and carry out data entry and basic analysis activities.
  • Carry out standard and non-standard payroll tasks autonomously in a timely manner.
  • Communicate clearly with Pensions Administration team members regarding payroll and pensioner queries.
  • Provide support for senior colleagues on ongoing payroll projects and specific business development activities.
  • Support training for new staff members and validate their work for accuracy.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in running end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients or large volume.
  • Strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification - minimum grade C/4.
