Claims Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Motor Claims Handler to join our dynamic Claims team.
Your primary responsibility will be handling a portfolio of Motor Claims from initial notification to settlement, ensuring service standards are met or exceeded.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in Commercial Motor Insurance claims handling, coupled with strong commercial awareness and full understanding of insurance claims procedures
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service experiences, applying TCF and KYC methodologies
- Acturis system knowledge (desirable but not essential), proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- Cert CII, or working towards this certification or keen to pursue it in the future
- Excellent organisational skills, including great time management
- Superb communication skills, both verbal and written
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, as well as various benefits, including hybrid working, a generous holiday allowance, death in service benefit, company pension scheme, parking at the office, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Motor Claims effectively, ensuring high levels of service quality
- Maintain an efficient diary system for all claims, chasing them as required
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Acturis
- Provide the broking department and clients with claims information and reports when necessary
- Ensure complex claims are handled according to group procedures
- Acknowledge new claims to both clients and insurers, keeping clients informed, and striving for the best outcome on each claim
- Generate claims MI/claims reports when requested
- Attend client meetings and present claims information when necessary
