Job Title: Project Manager: Group Strategic Programmes

HSBC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Group Strategic Programmes team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic programmes that drive business growth and transformation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in delivering complex programmes across multiple geographies. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
  • Manage budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into integrated solutions
  • Provide project management expertise across a group-level technology architecture function
Requirements
  • Expert-level experience in project management, with a focus on strategic programmes
  • Strong background in change delivery practices, including Agile methodologies
  • Excellent numerical, analytical skills, and strategic business insight
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience interfacing with stakeholders at all levels
