Job Description: Deliver high-quality level 1 Health & Safety courses to groups of up to 15 learners at HMP Five Wells. Develop learners' vocational skills and help them secure future employment opportunities post-release.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  1. Develop and maintain accurate records of learner progress, identifying areas where support may be needed.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver training sessions that cater to diverse learner needs.
  3. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A full teaching qualification and experience teaching Health & Safety courses are essential.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, including subject-specific qualifications to reach Level 3 within 2 years.
  • Level 1 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE) or willingness to obtain within 1 year.

Compensation and Benefits: Enjoy an estimated annual salary of £35,000 - £45,000 based on experience, plus additional benefits including career development programs, employee assistance, and retail discounts.
