About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a national leadership position within Booker Limited, driving food and health safety compliance across the business.

You will provide strategic direction to the company, ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements and promoting a positive safety culture. You will lead the Food & Safety Compliance teams in delivering high-quality advice and guidance, mitigating risk, and driving continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and review training programs, policies, and procedures to equip sites with the tools they need to achieve compliance and drive standards.
  • Lead on enforcement activities, challenges, and third-party supplier outputs, including audits, pest management, and fire risk assessments.
  • Agree and set objectives with senior leaders across the Group, delivering quantifiable improvements in areas under your remit.
What You'll Need
  • Demonstrate experience in managing teams and Business Partnering across a wide network.
  • Build strong relationships to effectively collaborate, influence, and deliver through others.
  • Develop strategy and objective setting, driving continuous improvement.
  • Possess a NEBOSH level 7 qualification or equivalent as well as Food Safety Level 4.
