Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Coordinating Officer for Public Safety at the Ministry of Justice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the MAPPA process, ensuring effective and appropriate information sharing, and providing necessary training and quality assurance for the management of MAPPA offenders.

The Coordinating Officer for Public Safety will work closely with the local MAPPA Strategic Management Board (SMB) to implement the MAPPA guidance, ensure statistical data is collated and reported upon as required, and provide effective management and leadership to the team.

We are looking for someone with substantial experience in risk management, public safety, or a related field, who can demonstrate a strong understanding of the MAPPA process and its application in a multi-agency setting. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In exchange for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £47,000 per annum, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
