Radiation Therapy Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 6 Radiographer to lead our pre-treatment team in the radiotherapy department. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing a team and coordinating pre-treatment activities.
The role involves rotating through CT scanners, virtual simulation planning, and cannulation departments. The candidate will be expected to maintain close communication and involvement with all Christie radiotherapy sites and host sites.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate pre-treatment activities and staff within the designated area of responsibility.
- Lead the pre-treatment team in a designated area together with other permanent pre-treatment band 6 staff.
- Report daily to superintendents and organize a busy workload with the highest level of patient care.
- Band 6 Radiographer with post-graduate qualification or intention for further study.
- Management/leadership training.
- Evidence of participation in research and/or radiotherapy development work.
- Evidence of active role in setting and maintaining quality standards.
- Organised but flexible and adaptable approach to work.
