Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to lead our Radiation Therapy Pre-Treatment team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff operating in radiotherapy pre-treatment, ensuring the safe and accurate operation of complex equipment, and providing guidance and mentorship to rotational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff in radiotherapy pre-treatment
  • Ensure the safe and accurate operation of complex equipment, including CT simulators and MR scanners
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to rotational staff
  • Contribute to the development of quality systems and procedures
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Degree in radiography or equivalent qualification
  • Postgraduate experience in radiation therapy pre-treatment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Salary: £56,341 - £62,691 per annum
