About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emotional Wellbeing Support Specialist to join our team in Harrogate. The successful candidate will support students with SEMH needs, promoting their emotional wellbeing and helping them achieve their full potential.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Planning and Preparation: Assist in planning learning activities, identifying resources required to support lesson plans and learning outcomes.
  • Supporting Pupils: Monitor and support pupils' achievements, maintaining strong communication with class teachers.
  • Leading Learning Activities: Lead individual or small groups of children in teacher-led learning activities, such as guiding reading, phonics, and math interventions.
  • Independence and Confidence: Support children's independence and confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Social, Emotional, and Physical Development: Create a safe environment for learning, using strong behaviour management skills to support children's social, emotional, and physical development.

The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
