Support Specialist

We are Academic Appointments Ltd., a leading provider of education services. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Advanced Teaching Assistant (ATA) to support pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires patience, understanding, and high levels of enthusiasm. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:00, supporting qualified teachers and other Teaching Assistants with the delivery of the national curriculum.
- Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in mainstream education settings or primary/secondary schools. They will need to build positive relationships with students and staff, support students with their studies and wellbeing, and restrain students when necessary.
