Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and passionate KS4 Teacher to join their team at a large SEN Secondary School in Berkeley, Gloucestershire. The school caters to 11-16 year olds with SEMH needs.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning to children and young people with SEMH and other complex or anxiety-related needs who may present with challenging behaviours associated with their diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, assess, review, and report on student progress to parents, team members, senior staff, examination bodies, and funding authorities through reports and identified meetings.
  • Maintain knowledge through training and research, taking responsibility for own professional development.
  • Contribute to the review of Statements and EHC plans, PEP, and LAC reviews.

This role requires a driving license and access to a vehicle, with parking available on site. An estimated salary for this position is £33,375 - £51,569 per annum, pro rata (M1 – UPS3) Plus £3,000 Welcome Bonus*.

A PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent teaching qualification, along with experience working in special schools and with pupils with SEMH, are essential qualifications. Postgraduate diploma in SEN and experience delivering a differentiated curriculum are desirable.
